Career Center

The University of Minnesota Law School’s Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC) assists alumni and students in all aspects of career development. As an institution with an exceptional national reputation, the Law School is focused on helping graduates find positions with top law firms and law-related employers throughout the country. Our well-trained graduates work in all 50 states, Guam, Puerto Rico, and many other locations around the world.

The Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC) helps alumni develop professional networks that provide access to employers throughout Minnesota and the nation. CPDC staff are available to meet with alumni to discuss professional goals. Whether you are just starting out in your career or are considering a career change, the CPDC is available to assist you.

The Center offers career workshops and programs throughout the year and counsels alumni and students on establishing and meeting professional goals. The CPDC also continually updates CareerFiles, an online career services handbook.
