Alumni
The Career Center offers a full range of services to help alumni develop their careers and to develop professional networks that provide access to employers throughout Minnesota and the nation. Career Center staff are available to meet with alumni to discuss professional goals. Whether you are just starting out in your career or are considering a career change, the Career Center is available to assist you.
If you would like the Career Center to review your resume or cover letter, please send it to lawcareers@umn.edu and a career counselor will respond.
Job postings for alumni are posted via Symplicity. If you need assistance with logging in, contact the office at lawcareers@umn.edu or (612) 625-1866.
Hiring
Our students and graduates are eager to work with Law School Alumni. For more information about posting jobs for law students and graduates, visit the Employers section.
Graduate Survey
The annual Graduate Employment Survey is the Law School's primary vehicle for collecting information about each graduating class. The Career Center and the Law School use this information in annual reports to accrediting authorities, such as the ABA, as well as for NALP and other entities that compile the data for rankings. Please complete your survey at the Symplicity Web site or email your career counselor with updates.
Events
Throughout the year, the Career Center provides opportunities to connect with current law students and the Law School at receptions, CLEs, programs such as the Mock Interview Program. For more information, visit the Alumni Events page.
Share your judicial clerkship experience
If you had a judicial clerkship (other than your first job after
graduation), please let us know so that we can update our records and
connect you to students and other alumni who may be interested in your
experience. Send a message to lawcareers@umn.edu
