Building upon the strength of an internationally recognized business law faculty, the newly established Corporate Institute combines new programs and current business-oriented activities to establish an area of excellence at the University of Minnesota Law School:

  • Business Law Concentration and Certification, preparing students for a wide range of careers in business
  • Business Law LL.M. Program, providing unique business-focused opportunities for foreign lawyers
  • Leadership Foundations Program, offering students essential leadership skills to enhance their legal studies
  • Business Law Clinic, providing practice experience with Minnesota business clients
  • Dual JD/MBA Degree Program with the Carlson School of Management, a top-ranked business school in the U.S.
  • Corporate Externship Program, placing students in legal departments in Minnesota corporations
