The primary objectives are 1) learn about the corporate law of countries other than the U.S. this is increasingly important with globalization, growth of multi-national corporations, and growing number of law firms with offices around the world; 2)better understand U.S. corporate law by contrasting it with differing practices and laws elsewhere; and 3)undertaking group work in case study settings to apply legal principles. We will use a mix of core textvook, law review articles, Harvard Business School case studies and additional documents throughout the class.
