Environmental sustainability requires public policies that promote renewable energy production and other public policies that reduce the environmental impact of our energy use. This year-long Clinic engages in projects related to this goal, such as: (1) providing technical assistance and advice to local units of government; (2) advocacy before state or federal administrative agencies; (3) legislative or ordinance drafting and advocacy; and (4) production of research reports on selected topics. This Clinic primarily is a policy clinic and does not typically engage in litigation.
