Description:
This course is an introduction to public international law. It will examine the sources and history of the law of nations, and concepts of jurisdiction and conflicts of jurisdiction of nation states. It will provide a brief survey of law of international organizations (including United Nations)international economic law, international environmental law, international protection of human rights, dispute resolution, and control of the use of force (including peacekeeping, war crimes and related topics).
