The text for this course is Arthur D. Hellman, Lauren K. Robel, and David R. Stras, Federal Courts: Cases and Materials on Judicial Federalism and the Lawyering Process (2009). Please also purchase the 2009 supplements when they are available.

For the first day, please read Articles I and III of the Constitution (reproduced in Appendix A of the casebook), as well as pages 3-24 of the casebook.
