Law Council is the student governance body of the University of Minnesota Law School. Law Council oversees all registered law student organizations and campus life groups, advocates for student interests and serves as a liaison between students, faculty, staff, and administration. Membership is composed of elected representatives from the law student body.
Weekly General Body Meetings
Weekly meetings are held by Law Council to discuss pending student matters. All meetings are open to the law school community. Law Council meetings are held every Tuesday from 12:15pm - 1:15pm in room N20a. Business items for general body meetings should be emailed to email@example.com.
Law Council Digest
Each week, Law Council distributes a Law Council Digest. The digest serves as the primary means of communication with students. Submissions of announcements to be included in the digest should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by 6:00pm on Sunday. Failure to do so may result in omission from the digest. Law Council Student Organization Funding
The Budget Committee holds weekly meetings to review pending budget requests regarding student organization funding.
