Race For Justice

The annual spring Race for Justice unites University of Minnesota students, faculty, alumni, and friends to raise funds for the Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) of Minnesota. By subsidizing education debts for dedicated, low-paid public interest attorneys, LRAP helps meet the legal needs of low-income Minnesotans across the state.

The annual 5K "Fun Run and Walk" coincides with the Law School's alumni weekend every spring. Since its inception in 2002, the Race has expanded into a favorite annual activity for members of Minnesota's legal community and beyond. Each year the Race draws over 750 participants and raises over $20,000 in registration fees and donations for LRAP.
