Law Council

The Law Council is elected by the student body to represent students’ interests in the operation of the Law School. Each class elects three representatives each year to serve on the Council, and additional representatives are selected from among LL.M and transfer students. Duties of the Council include advocating for students, helping student organizations, appropriating funds for student organizations, and distributing communications to students via the Law Council Digest, a weekly email of event listings and announcements. Law Council meetings are almost always open and students are invited to attend. The Law Council Office is in N20 in the Sub Plaza.
