Fire Alarms

If the fire alarms sound, it is considered a mandatory evacuation. You should leave the building swiftly yet calmly by using the nearest exit/stairwell and proceed well beyond the attached parking lot. Remember that the elevators do not operate when the alarms sound. Please report any persons needing assistance or pertinent information to emergency personnel. First Aid Kits

First Aid Kits are located at the 2nd Floor Information Desk and the Library Circulation Desk.

Security Monitor Program - 624-WALK - Escort Service

The University Security Monitor Program, a branch of the UMPD, offers free walking and biking security escorts to and from campus locations and nearby adjacent neighborhoods for all students, staff, faculty and visitors. Call 4-WALK (4-9255), shortly before your departure time for an escort. This service is free and available 24/7.

The Law School hires security monitors on-site in Mondale Hall after regular business hours into the late evening and on weekends. For current monitor hours see http://www.law.umn.edu/contact.html#2602.

Severe Weather
