On the basis of completed coursework and field experience and written statements of interest, Sean Burke (J.D. ’11) and Stephanie Ward (J.D. ’11) were selected to attend Law and War: An International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Workshop held at DePaul University School of Law on October 15-17, 2010.

A reception was held Saturday, November 6, 2010, for the LL.M. Class of 2010-11, exchange students, and Law/Humphrey Fellows in the St. Paul home of Professor Brad Delapena and Associate Vice President and Dean for International Programs Meredith McQuaid ('91). Delapena taught this year's Introduction to American Law course to the LL.M. students, Humphrey Fellows and exchange students. McQuaid had a long tenure at the Law School as Associate Dean of Administration and International Programs. The night was filled with music, food and great conversation, and 47 students attended along with several staff members. Pictured above are Delapena and McQuaid with several of the students who attended the reception.
