CD/Cassette Player
We have one portable CD/Cassette player. The CD player does NOT play MP3 files.
Laptops
The laptops are for short-term use within the law school. To use a laptop for a longer period, please contact LITS, 625-0740. The laptops come with a remote with laser pointer, an optical mouse and a wireless network card or built-in wireless networking capability.
LCD Projectors
LCD projectors attach to a laptop, VCR, or Visualizer (Document Camera) to project the display on to a wall-mounted or portable screen.
Microphones, Wired (indicate number needed in box)
Please indicate in the section labeled Notes how many microphones you need and how you would like the microphones set up. For example: at a podium, one per table for three tables, etc.
Microphones, Wireless Handheld
There are two handheld wireless microphones available.
Microphones, Wireless Lavalier
There is one wireless lavalier microphone available. Rooms 20, 30, 40, and 50 have wireless lavalier microphones installed.
Portable Sound System
We have portable powered speakers. If needed, a podium must be ordered from Law School Facilities/Building Management.
Portable Sound, Wireless
We have the capability of using wireless lavaliler OR handheld microphones with the portable powered speakers.
Rooms With Built-In Equipment
Many classrooms have educational technology and presentation equipment built-in. Please follow the link to view the list. The Rooms need to be reserved through the Room Reservation Form
Screen, Portable
For spaces that do not have built-in screens we have several portable screens.
TV/DVD
The Law School has two 20" color TV monitors with a combination DVD/ VHS players available.
Visualizer
We have two visualizer/document cameras for displaying printed documents and physical objects. You must order an LCD Projector to display the output from this piece of equipment.
Video Recording
We are able to video record using the built-in cameras in Court Rooms 170 & 180 and in Lockhart Hall (Room 25). Your reservation through Law Educational Technology reserves the equipment but a separate room reservation on the Room Reservation Form is also necessary to reserve a room.
We can video record using portable digital camcorders. We can also provide a professional videographer upon request.
Post Production
We can make material available online, or on DVD or VHS.
Audio Recording
Audio recording is available with portable digital devices or with systems built into the Subplaza classrooms. We can also audio-tape in room 25 or Court Rooms 170 and 180.
Conference Telephones
We have two Polycom conference phones that can be checked out. These can only be used in rooms 7, N202 or N209. You need to make a separate room reservation on the Room Reservation Form.

If we do not have equipment you need, please check Other on the request form and explain what you need in Notes. If we can not help you, we will try and refer you to someone who can.
