Minnesota Journal of Global Trade

The Minnesota Journal of Global Trade entered its fourteenth year of publication in 2004-2005. First proposed by a group of University of Minnesota law students led by Founding Editor Daniel L. M. Kennedy, the Journal developed as a joint effort between these students and various members of the law faculty who were keenly interested in the analysis of the legal issues involved in international trade. It is a scholarly publication that has been dedicated to the study of economic policy and international trade law from its inception. The editorial staff of the Journal is proud to offer a forum in which professors, practitioners and students can contribute to the debates that will affect the dynamics of domestic and international economies.

Volume 15 marked an important transition along with a new name, Minnesota Journal of International Law.  The journal broadened its scope in recognition of the changes in the world legal system, and the increased blurring of the line between trade law and other international legal disciplines. In conjunction with the transition, Volume 15 spotlighted the international faculty of the University of Minnesota, publishing original articles from the University’s own distinguished legal scholars.

More than 250 institutions in fourteen countries subscribe to this Journal . Additional readers are attracted each year by its unique interdisciplinary approach to international issues.
