Mr. Terje Andersen,
Norway
Mr. Terje earned a Master of Law from the University of Oslo Law School in Norway. Since then he has practiced with the law firm of Storeng, Beck & Due Lund ANS specializing in labor and employment law. He is also a lecturer on labor and employment law for the Norwegian School of Management as well as a Fulbright Scholar.

Ms. Florence Breuvart,
France
Ms. Breuvart graduated from the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France receiving a degree in Law as well as earning two Master’s in Business Law from the University of Jean Mouline Lyon-III in Lyon, France. She has a special interest in intellectual property.

Ms. Hélène Carrier,
France
Ms. Carrier earned her LL.B. from the Catholic Institute of Higher Studies in La Roche-sur-Yon, France as well as two Master’s in Law from the University of Jean Moulin Lyon III in Lyon, France. She is currently studying for a Master’s in intellectual property.

Mr. Jesús Castellano,
Spain
Mr. Castellano earned an LL.B. from Complutense University of Madrid in Spain. Since then he has worked as a lawyer specializing in corporate and procedural law. He is currently a partner at ILP Global – LR Abogados and intends to focus on business law, particularly arbitration and mediation, in-house practice, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital-related legal issues.

Mr. Yingzhen Chen,
China
Mr. Chen earned a Law Degree from Peking University Law School in Beijing, China before working at China Hainan Airline Co. Ltd as in-house counsel. Since then he has worked for Jiayuan Law Office and currently for Jingtian & Gongcheng Law Offices specializing in IPOs and M&As. He is interested in comparative and international law.

Ms. Bernadette M. Conteh,
Sierra Leone
Ms. Conteh has a B.S. in paralegal studies from National American University and an LL.B. from the University of Younde in Cameroon. She has worked with The Institute for Human Rights & Development in Africa. She plans to specialize in Human Rights and Health Law particularly immigration, advocacy, death penalty, physician patient relationships, medical malpractice and problems of access to health care and reforms.

Ms. Jie Dai,
China
Ms. Dai earned her LL.B. from Renmin University of China in Beijing, China. During her studies she interned at Chongqing Jiwei Law Firm and People's Court of Jiangjin District, Chongqing. She is interested in business law.

Mr. Mohamed Elian,
Egypt
Mr. Elian earned an LL.B. from Cairo University in Egypt before practicing with Mamdouh Elian Law Office and Alkan Networks. Mr. Elian plans to study international business law particularly arbitration and mediation, in-house practice, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital-related legal issues. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Islamic Law and Fundamentals of Islam in the Islamic University of Minnesota.

Ms. Marta Felipó Codina,
Andorra
Ms. Felipó Codina graduated from ESADE Law School in Barcelona, Spain specializing in business law. Prior to joining the LL.M. Program she spent a semester at the University of Minnesota as an exchange student. In addition to the law, she has a passion for language and music.

Mr. Ghebreslassie Goitom,
Eritrea
Mr. Goitom earned an LL.B. from the University of Asmara in Eritrea. Since then he has spent time working for Berhane Gila-Michael Law Consultants and Attorneys-at-Law, lecturing at Zhejiang Forestry University, and working for the International Humanitarian Organization as a development officer. He is interested in environmental law.

Ms. Weina Guan,
China
Ms. Guan earned a Masters of Law from Renmin University of China in Beijing, China and has interned with the People’s Court in Haidin District, Beijing, China. She is interested in international business.

Ms. Pei-Chi Hong,
Taiwan
Ms. Hong earned and LL.B. with a dual degree in English and Law at Soochow University in Taipei, Taiwan. Since then she has worked for the Taipei District Prosecutor’s Office as a prosecution investigator. She is interested in learning about how common law systems handle criminal procedure, evidence and related legal matters.

Ms. Sara Israelyan,
The Netherlands
Ms. Israelyan has degrees in Human Rights Law from North-West University in South Africa, an LL.B. in Dutch Law, International Law, and Business Law as well as an LL.M. in International Business Law from Tilburg University in The Netherlands. In addition, she has worked for Salvador Kempermann Ingelse Advocaten and the Maastricht Court of Appeal.

Ms. Zheng Jin,
China
Ms. Jin earned an LL.B. from Shanghai University in China. Since then she has worked as, among other things, a Judge’s Assistant in Shanghai HuangPu District and as a Legal Affairs Adviser for Toyota. She is interested in intellectual property and commercial law.

Ms. Rattikan Juhoong,
Thailand
Ms. Juhoong earned an LL.B. from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand and an LL.M. from the University of Illinois in the United States. She has worked for the Bank of Ayudhaya and as a legal officer in the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources. She is interested in international trade law and international business.

Mr. Emin Karimov,
Azerbaijan
Mr. Karimov earned an LL.B. from the Public Administration Academy in Baku, Azerbaijan. He is interested in commercial and corporate law.

Mr. Tae Hyoung Lim,
Korea
Mr. Lim has an LL.B. and an LL.M. in Commercial Law from Seoul National University in Seoul, South Korea. He has worked as an assistant public prosecutor for the Seoul District Public Prosecutor’s Office, as a clerk in Seoul District Court, and as a lawyer, most recently with APEX LLC. He is interested in real estate, finance, and trust law.

Mr. Fabien Morelli,
France
Mr. Morelli earned an LL.B. in Private Law, an LL.M. in Business Law, and a Post-Master’s Degree in Banking & Financial Law from Aix-en-Provence Law School in France. He passed the French bar exam in 2008 and he is interested in international business law.

Mr. Luis Navarrete,
Mexico
Mr. Navarette earned an LL.B. from the University of Sonora in Mexico. During his time there, he was Editor-in-Chief of the journal El Siete. He is interested in legal philosophy and would like to use that knowledge to help change the way Mexican law schools train future lawyers.

Mr. Jicong Song,
China
Mr. Song earned an LL.B. from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in China. While there he studied abroad in Sweden. He has also worked for the non-profit SHUFE Legal Aid Center which specializes in public interest law. He is interested in improving his knowledge of common law legal systems and international intellectual property issues.

Ms. Arndis Sveinbjörnsdóttir,
Iceland
Ms. Sveinbjörnsdóttir earned a B.A. and an M.A. in Law from the University of Iceland in Reykjavík, Iceland. She has practiced law and actively does pro bono work. She is interested in human rights law.

Mr. Chichi Tsai,
Taiwan
Mr. Tsai earned his LL.B. from National Chengchi University in Taipei City, Taiwan. He is a defense attorney specializing in economic criminal cases, particularly securities and exchange law, business accounting law, and company law. As a lawyer, he has worked on a number of high profile cases. He is interested in interested in, among other things, improving his knowledge of banking and finance law.

Ms. Diana Santos Vasquez,
Colombia
Ms. Santos Vasquez earned an LL.B. from Catholic University of Colombia in Bogotá, Colombia. Since then she has worked in commercial law and administrative law in addition to considerable pro bono work in human rights. She is interested in human rights law.

Ms. Chenyun Weng,
China
Ms. Weng earned an LL.B. from Donghua University in Shanghai, China and has worked as a paralegal, judicial clerk, lawyer, and legal analyst. She is interested in international commercial law.

Ms. Liwei Wang,
China
Ms. Wang earned an LL.B. from China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, China and also studied at Oxford in England. She has worked at the Haidain District People’s Court in Beijing, China as well as in private practice and is particularly passionate about doing pro bono work. She is interested in commercial law.

Mr. Qu Wang,
China
Mr. Qu has an LL.B. from Jilin University in Changchun, China as well as an LL.M. from Valparaiso University in the United States. He has worked for the Chao Yang District Court. He is interested in international commercial law.

Ms. Carla Wessolek,
Germany
Ms. Wessolek is an exchange student from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany and has also spent time studying abroad at the University of Sydney in Australia. She is interested in international law, particularly international arbitration and international business.

Ms. Nan Zheng,
China
Ms. Zheng earned an LL.B. from East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai, China. She has interned at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and in the private sector. She has also previously spent time in the U.S. participating in a summer law program at the University of Maryland.

Ms. Xiaoling Zhou,
China
Ms. Xiaoling earned an LL.B. from Nanjing University Law School in Nanjing, China and an LL.M. from East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai, China. She worked as a lawyer for Zhonglun Law Firm and later for Dacheng Law Firm in China. She practiced in the area of business law focusing on banking & finance and real property. She is interested in international business transactions including foreign direct investment.

Mr. Lei Zhu,
China
Mr. Zhu earned his LL.B. from East China University in Shanghai, China specializing in economic law. He works as a legal consultant for a number of charities and is interested in practicing international law.
