Law School Professor and Solly Robins Distinguished Research Fellow Amy B. Monahan has been selected for the 2013 Young Scholars Medal, given by the prestigious American Law Institute.

Class of 2014 students Alexandra Dellarco, Bryan Dooley, and Henry Ha have been awarded, through a highly competitive process among more than 500 law student applicants nationwide, a prestigious ten-week Peggy Browning summer 2013 fellowship in public interest labor law.

Due to the tragic events in Boston, today's lecture, "The 21st Century Cyber Threat," by Deputy Attorney General James M. Cole has been cancelled.
"The Deputy Attorney General sends his regrets to the University of Minnesota Law School, and hopes to reschedule the visit and lecture. Due to the tragic events in Boston, he needs to remain in Washington to assist in the coordination of the federal response," said a spokesperson with the Department of Justice.

Mike Hatch ('73), a former state attorney general, was recently selected to receive the Joan and Walter Mondale Award for Public Service. He will accept the award given by the Minnesota DFL Party at its second annual Humphrey-Mondale Dinner on April 20.
