There will be 260 new faces at the Law School this week as the new entering class arrives for its August 29-31 orientation. The students come from 35 states, the District of Columbia, and 6 foreign countries.
August 27, 2007
The 2006-2007 annual fund campaign yielded gifts and pledges totaling $571,827, a new Law School record. Support will go to scholarships, student journals, clinics, faculty initiatives, and more.
August 15, 2007
The LL.M. Program for Foreign Lawyers is already one week into its three-week Introduction to American Law course. The 25 LL.M. students represent 16 countries and are joined by 20 exchange students.

Meredith McQuaid, Assoc. Dean of Admin. and Int'l Programs at the Law School, has been appointed Assoc. VP and Dean of Int'l Programs at the U of MN, a position she has served on an interim basis since Nov. 2006.

The Government of Ireland has nominated Professor Fionnuala Ní Aoláin as one of three candidates to the vacant Irish judicial position on the European Court of Human Rights.
