AAAS Elects Susan Wolf a Fellow

Prof. Susan M. Wolf has been elected a 2008 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Individuals are elevated to the rank of Fellow as a result of their scientifically or socially distinguished efforts to advance science or its applications.

Law School Receives A $6 Million Robina Grant For Its Transformative Educational Plan

The Robina Foundation, created by Alumnus James H. Binger ('41), has granted $6.01 million to the Law School's agenda to transform legal education and research in order to address some of the greatest legal and social challenges of the 20th century.

Indigenous Law Scholar John Borrows Joins Law School Faculty

John Borrows, a professor at the University of Victoria, is joining the University of Minnesota Law School faculty in Fall 2009 as a professor in the area of international law and human rights. Borrows will be the first appointee to hold one of the new Chairs in Law, Public Policy, and Society.
