The Minnesota Supreme Court issued an opinion on December 19, 2012, in the property tax assessment lawsuit Odunlade et al. v. City of Minneapolis (Supreme Court File No. A111832), remanding a portion of the lawsuit to the Minnesota Tax Court.

Effective March 1, 2013, James L. Chosy (’89), chair of the Law School's Board of Advisors, will return to U.S. Bancorp after a 12-year absence, this time as executive vice president and general counsel. He will serve on the 15-member managing committee and report to U.S. Bancorp president and CEO, Richard Davis.

Chief Deputy Carver County Attorney Michael D. Wentzell (’98) has been appointed to Minnesota's First Judicial District Court, replacing retired Judge Phillip T. Kanning, Gov. Mark Dayton's office announced recently.
