Leon E. Trakman, the 5th and final candidate for the position of Law School
Dean will be on site on Tues., Dec. 4th and Wed., Dec. 5th. A public Town Hall meeting is scheduled for Dec. 5th in Room 25 from 12:15-1:15.

The 2008 list of Minnesota Rising Stars — up-and-coming legal pacesetters chosen by their peers and Minnesota Law & Politics, and published in Mpls. St. Paul magazine — includes U of MN Law School alumni.

The team of Logan Drew, Jesse Mondry, and Ryan Myers will represent the Law School in the final rounds of the National Moot Court Competition in New York in January.

Law School faculty and Human Rights Center staff have generated a petition opposing the Musharraf government and declaring solidarity with the legal community in Pakistan.

The 2007 Minnesota Law Review Symposium "The Low-Wage Worker: Legal Rights—Legal Realities" will be held Nov. 2 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm in Room 25. Six CLE credits have been approved. (Registration required.)
