This year's Minnesota Justice Foundation (MJF) Annual Awards Celebration will take place Nov. 10, 2010, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at International Market Square, 275 Market St., Minneapolis.

On Tuesday, October 26, 2010, the Minnesota Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in a special session at the University of Minnesota Law School. The session will take place in Room 25 (overflow in Room 40). The first and second arguments are open to any students, faculty, staff and the public. 1Ls will be required to attend the third argument as part of the 1L Lecture Series. Judges Terri I. Stoneburner, Louise Dovre Bjorkman ('85), and James C. Harten will hear the following cases:

Professor Fionnuala Ní Aoláin has been selected for the Irish Legal 100, an annual listing by the Irish Voice newspaper and Irish America magazine to honor the Irish in the legal profession. Hundreds are nominated for the listing, now in its third year, for their achievements and leadership in the law and pride in their heritage.
