Law School Hosts 125th Anniversary Gala Celebration

More than 500 people gathered at McNamara Alumni Center on October 4 for a gala celebration of the 125th anniversary of the University of Minnesota Law School.

David Etzwiler ('90) to Lead the Siemens Foundation

The Siemens Foundation has announced that David Etzwiler ('90) will join the organization as CEO, effective today. In this newly created position, Etzwiler will oversee day-to-day operations while implementing a strategic vision that expands the foundation's reach and impact. The foundation's mission is to support innovation, research, and educational initiatives in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM); it provides more than $7 million annually to enhance STEM education in the United States.

Minnesota Law Review Symposium to Examine the Future of Organized Labor

Institute on Metropolitan Opportunity Releases Study on Charter Schools

The Law School's Institute on Metropolitan Opportunity (IMO) today released "Charter Schools in the Twin Cities: 2013 Update," a new study showing that Twin Cities charter schools underperform traditional public schools and continue to be highly segregated by race and income.
