Befort Elected to Labor Law Group

MARCH 20, 2008 — Professor Stephen Befort has been elected to the Labor Law Group, an association of approximately 40 leading law academicians from the United States, Canada, Europe, and Israel. Since its inception in 1946, the Labor Law Group’s primary mission has been to improve upon and contribute to the teaching materials and training methods used in the field of labor law.

For his initial role within the Group, Professor Befort will serve on a committee charged with creating a capstone course that integrates the doctrinal components of labor and employment law with the clinical skills needed to practice in those fields. The capstone project is a collaboration of the Labor Law Group and the American Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section.

Befort is the Gray, Plant, Mooty, Mooty & Bennett Professor at the Law School.
