First-year law students, being introduced to Discovery in Civil Procedure, should find the issues timely. The argument in Minnesota Asbestos Litigation Case No. A08-2222 will focus on the lower level courts authority regarding pre-litigation discovery and discovery not provided for in the Minnesota Rules of Civil Procedure. The session will be held in Room 25 beginning at 10:10 a.m. The argument will last approximately one hour and a 20-30 minute Q&A period will follow.
1L student backpacks and laptops can be brought into Room 25 but must be stored on floor.
