Law School Hosts the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals

The Law School and University community are invited to attend oral arguments before the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, on Tuesday, April 3rd.

The oral arguments will take place beginning at 9:00 a.m. in Room 25, at the Law School. A three judge panel consisting of Hon. Kermit Bye, Hon. Myron Bright, and Hon. William Riley, will hear oral arguments for four cases:

  • Hayek v. City of St. Paul, etc.
  • Jones v. the St. Paul Companies, etc.
  • US v. Chettiar
  • US v. Rios

 

The visit from the 8th Circuit will provide a rare opportunity for faculty, staff and students to see justice in action and to participate in a live question/answer session with the judges at the conclusion of the arguments.
