David Kastelic (’80) Selected for CHS Leadership Team
DECEMBER 15, 2010—David Kastelic (’80) has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer responsible for finance, accounting, and risk management at CHS Inc. Kastelic is one of six executives chosen as the new senior leadership team by CEO designate Carl Casale, who will succeed current President and CEO John Johnson. Casale and the leadership team will assume their new duties on Jan. 3, 2011.
Kastelic joined the CHS Legal Department in 1993 and has been senior vice president and general counsel since 2000. Previously he was in private practice for 13 years.
"I look forward to working with this experienced and talented team of individuals who will help lead our company forward as we seek opportunities to add value for CHS stakeholders," Casale said in announcing his leadership team.
St. Paul-based CHS is owned by farmers, ranchers, cooperatives, and preferred stockholders and is the largest producer-owned farm cooperative in the nation. The diversified grains, crop nutrients, foods, energy, and business solutions company markets and distributes Cenex fuels, renewable enery products, and other essential resources worldwide.
