Legal Community Offers Students Real-World Advice At February Events

February 20, 2009—Law Students can shake off the doldrums of February by honing their skills and learning about new opportunities.

Two events taking place this month:

Feb. 24: "Summer Work Study Session: Do Good; Get Paid."
Judy Gelina and Jim Parker, Student Employment and Financial Aid.
12:15 p.m., Room 35.

Feb. 27: "Appellate Advocacy Primer."
Associates from the award-winning law firm of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. will provide lectures and demonstrations on successful oral advocacy.
11:15 a.m. – 1:15 p.m., Room 25. Lunch will be served.
