MARCH 31, 2008—The University of Minnesota Law School 2008 Graduation Committee is pleased to announce that the annual silent auction is open for business for "anyone with money".
There's something for everyone among the 62 choices currently available, but don't delay. Bidding closes Friday, April 4, at 5:00 p.m.
New this year is the Alumni Matching Gift program. The class of 2008 is honored to have as its partner the class of 1958. In the inaugural Alumni Matching Gift program, all funds raised by the class of 2008 will be matched by this year's 50th reunion class, the class of 1958. Funds raised will go to the graduation committee to use for the class gift.
A sampling of items:
For those in need of a good meal, how about breakfast for three at the Birchwood Cafe with Visiting Assistant Professor Morgan Holcomb, lunch for four with Vice President Walter Mondale, or dinner for six with Provost Tom Sullivan?
Maybe a night out at a karaoke bar is more your style. Professors Blumenthal, Hill, McGeveran, Ryan, Kitrosser, Schwarcz, and Warren are tuning up for the occasion.
Professor Judith Younger is prepared to part with "a gorgeous red and black hat with veil" that she wore living "the high life" in Washington D.C.
Of course, this is Minnesota, so you might want to consider the Law School hoodie offered by the Law School bookstore.
