LSAT Prep Program Renamed MPLS Program

MARCH 19, 2012—From May 24 to Aug. 23, 2012, the Law School will again offer the program it has offered since 2008 to help students prepare for the law school admissions process. Only the name has changed.

Now called the Minnesota Pre-Law Scholars (MPLS) Program, the comprehensive course will meet weekly. Instruction will cover all sections of the Law School Admissions Test and the law school application process.

The program (formerly called the LSAT and Admissions Prep Program) is sponsored by the Law School Office of Admissions. It includes mentoring, discussions of law school topics, guest speakers, and assistance with applications, essays, and questions. Post-program follow-up will also be provided.

Applications for the program, which is limited to 25 students, are due April 27. For application forms and information, contact Rachel J. Martínez, Associate Director of Admissions, at mart1130@umn.edu.
