PreProBono LSAT Prep Program Coming This Weekend

AUGUST 6, 2009—This Saturday and Sunday, August 8 and 9, 2009, the PreProBono LSAT Weekend Prep Program is being offered to help students who are planning on a public interest law career prepare for the LSAT. It takes place at the Law School’s Mondale Hall, Room 55, 229 19th Ave. S., Minneapolis.

The two-day workshop includes all materials and the following:

  • Comprehensive LSAT coverage, including a breakdown of all test sections and training in the skills needed to master them, taught by an experienced instructor
  • A Saturday-night dinner, keynote address by Minnesota Justice Foundation Program Director Sara Sommarstrom ('05), and Q&A session following her talk
  • A social mixer and networking opportunity with the PreProBono alumni community
  • Post-program follow-up, providing assistance with the application process, essays, and other questions

The Program is being sponsored by the Law School, the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and the Law Council. Thanks go to student organizers Afsheen Foroozan ('10) and Ken Ito ('11) for their time and effort in coordinating the event.
