Robyn Millenacker ('88) Chosen for 2nd District Court Bench

APRIL 26—Robyn A. Millenacker ('88), an assistant U.S. Attorney for Minnesota, has been appointed to the Second Judicial District Court in St. Paul. She will fill the vacancy created by the 2009 retirement of Michael Fetsch.

"Robyn has distinguished herself as a civil prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s office," said Governor Pawlenty in a press release. "Her diverse professional background and strong intellect will be an asset to a bench that has a high volume of complex cases."

Millenacker is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota Bar Association, and Minnesota Women Lawyers. Before joining the Minnesota U.S. Attorney's office in 1996, Millenacker served as a law clerk for U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Janice Symchych in St. Paul; as an assistant U.S. Attorney in California; and as an attorney with the firm Pillsbury, Madison and Sutro. While a student at the Law School, she clerked for the Hennepin County Attorney's office in Minneapolis.
