Multitalented Mondale Turns 80

The University of Minnesota Law School is proud to extend its heartiest and sincerest good wishes to native son and cum laude graduate (class of 1956) Walter F. Mondale on his 80th birthday. Mr. Mondale has been an inspiring representative of the Law School’s high ethical and public-service standards across the nation and the world.

Known over the years as state Attorney General Mondale, U.S. Senator Mondale, U.S. Vice President Mondale, and U.S. Ambassador Mondale, Fritz will always be known at the Law School as a loyal and valued cast member of the Theatre of the Relatively Talentless.

The Friends of Walter Mondale Committee invites everyone to email birthday greetings, recollections, and descriptions of how Mr. Mondale has touched your life via friendsofwaltermondale@gmail.com.

The Law School will formally honor Mr. Mondale in a birthday celebration to be held this spring.
