Prof. Moriearty Elected to Clinical Legal Education Association Board of Directors

DECEMBER 17, 2010—Clinical Professor Perry Moriearty, has been elected to a three-year term on the Clinical Legal Education Association (CLEA) Board of Directors. The election was held throughout November, and all CLEA members were eligible to vote.

Moriearty’s area of expertise is in clinical legal education, civil litigation, and juvenile justice. She teaches criminal law, race and the law, and co-directs the Child Advocacy and Juvenile Justice Clinic.

CLEA, the nation’s largest association of law teachers, is an advocate on matters relating to clinical teachers and clinical legal education, and it represents over 750 faculty members at over 150 U.S. law schools.
