Law School To Host The First Twin Cities Law & Society Conference
SEPTEMBER 21, 2009—The University of Minnesota Law School will serve as host for the first Twin Cities Law & Society Conference, held 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009 in Mondale Hall, Rooms 45 and 55.
The conference is cooperatively hosted by the University of Minnesota Law School, the Department of Sociology, the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Policy, and the University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts. It invites those from Minnesota and neighboring states to discuss issues of sociology, law and economics, and to share research ideas.
The program will include a light breakfast and lunch, as well as a full day of panel sessions offered by faculty from local universities. Details on the sessions are available via a downloadable PDF.
Cost is $45 for community members and faculty, and $25 for students. Deadline for registration is Oct. 19.
