Description:

This course is about people, living and dead, and their relationships. The frame is the transmission of family wealth from one generation to another. The scope is intestate succession, wills, trusts, will substitutes, the rudiments of gift and estate taxation, future interests, and professional responsibility. The goal is to make students familiar with the field and go on to practice and further study in it.
