Description:
Students will explore the importance of information for the modern corporate enterprise, the risks and challenges associated with managing various forms of information, and various laws and rules that govern information-all geared to developing a sense of options to enhance risk avoidance, cost containment and compliance. This course seeks to develop awareness and critical analysis skills for students who may wish to pursue various legal careers, including in-house corporate risk or compliance counsel, private practice general corporate counsel, and litigation or regulatory counsel.
