Corporate Externship

Course Description:

In this summer program, students experience the transactional work of corporate legal departments for 150 hours over the 8-week summer session. Some of the areas of law are corporate governance, human resources, sales (vendor and supplier agreements), SEC filings and documents, international and comparative law, finance, and intellectual property. The instructor will attempt to match students to areas of interest. Students also attend class sessions and complete written assignments, including journals of their experiences. Available to students who have completed the 2L year.
