Visit the Campus

We invite prospective students to visit the Law School, and we encourage those visits when classes are in session. A visit allows prospective students and their guests to get a true sense of the school's atmosphere, faculty and students.

If you are an admitted student for Fall 2015, please contact the Office of Admissions directly at jdadmissions@umn.edu to schedule a visit or sign up for an available date on admit.law.umn.edu.

If you are a prospective student who has not yet gone through the application process or has not received a decision, we will host visits on various days throughout the year. During a typical visit, prospective students have the opportunity to attend a small-group information session, tour Mondale Hall with a current student, and observe a class (optional). Please see the dates below for informational sessions and register by completing the online form. You will receive a confirmation after completing the form.

All visits will begin at noon. Please come to the Office of Admissions, located at 229 19th Avenue South in Room 290, when you arrive on campus. The visit schedule details are listed below. If you do not wish to attend class, your visit will conclude after the tour. We suggest scheduling visits 1-2 weeks in advance to ensure availability.

Visit Schedule:

12:00 - 12:30 p.m.  Admissions Information Session
12:30 - 1:15 p.m.Tour with a Current Student
1:25 - 2:20 p.m.Family Law Class Observation
