This is a part of the Legal Research & Writing Course during Spring semester. This combined course is 3 credits.

This class will study the basic doctrine of statutory interpretation-the canons, legislative history.

Statutory interpretation is a key skill for modern lawyers, and the traditional common law focus of the first year does not reflect that reality.
