Students who are enrolled in Law 6232 may elect to take this course for an additional writing credit.  This writing assignment is a simulation of the real-world patent prosecution environment where a junior associate or agent prepares a patent application for review by a senior associate or partner.  The writing credit will consist of the preparation of an entire patent application, including claims and specification.  The application is then reviewed by an assigned advisor and the final application is prepared, incorporating the advisor’s suggested changes.
