Regulated Industries – 6634

The subject matter of this course will be industries subject to regulation, broadly construed. The course will examine how law, policy, and politics influence and shape government regulation in a variety of contexts. The course will address both economic and noneconomic justifications for government regulation, as well as different elements that influence regulatory design.
