Moot Court Competition Team: Emory Civil Rights Competition – 7048

Fall 2020

Every year, the U of M Law School participates in at least one additional moot court competition team. Participation requires sponsorship by a full time faculty member. In 2018-2019, those teams were: Bankruptcy (Soper); Immigration (Chan); and Environmental (Klass). In 2019-2020, the U of M anticipates participating in Bankruptcy (Soper); Immigration (Chan); and Environmental (Klass).

The Emory 2020 Civil Rights Moot Court Competition Team is a two-credit course (fall only), graded on the A-F scale. Students will draft and submit a full appellate brief, engage in practice arguments with the instructor and other local attorneys, and compete in an online moot court competition in October. Please note that this course will run from approximately August 10, 2020 -  October 18, 2020.
