A national competition that focuses on bankruptcy law. The team is coached by two local bankruptcy lawyers. Additional local bankruptcy lawyers serve as guest judges during oral argument practices.

Students typically travel to a regional round (not scored) in Chicago in early February. The regional round is typically held at a federal courthouse in Chicago and bankruptcy judges also participate as judges. The national competition is held in New York City in late February and also incorporates sitting bankruptcy judges into the competition. There is a high level of engagement from bankruptcy judges and practitioners - which presents both an outstanding  learning opportunity and an outstanding networking opportunity for students.
