A rich variety of student activities, organizations, and leadership opportunities enhance the classroom experience.
The student-elected Law Council advocates for student interests and sponsors a range of programs, including approximately 40 active student groups, fostering a true “marketplace of ideas” within and beyond Mondale Hall. Sit in on a debate on timely legal topics, sponsored collaboratively by student groups, or let off steam (or challenge your toughest professor!) on the basketball court or hockey rink. Support public interest at the Minnesota Justice Foundation’s annual talent show, or make use of your latent theatrical talents in the Theatre of the Relatively Talentless annual spring musical, written, produced, and performed by law students.
Whatever your personal or legal interests, you’ll find a match at the Law School.
