Each month one faculty member will join interested students for an informal breakfast in the Human Rights Center to discuss career experiences and talk about their research and policy work. The aim is to further connect our exceptional human rights and international law faculty with law students interested in these fields.

Professor Krusen is a Caribbean lawyer specializing in international law. She holds citizenship in Jamaica, Belize, and now the USA.   She earned her Law Degree from the University of the West Indies (UWI) in Barbados and a Masters of Government (International Law and Government) from the UWI campus in Jamaica.  Prof. Krusen has extensive intergovernmental practice through her posts as General Counsel of CARICOM and Head of the legal unit of the Foreign Ministry of Jamaica, where she was part of several delegations to UN meetings and negotiations.  Among her numerous public sector posts, Prof. Krusen has also served as Solicitor General of Belize and Head of the Law Development Section at the Commonwealth Secretariat in London.
