How Minnesota Law Students and Attorneys Helped Stop Somali Deportations

Join law students Mary Georgevich and Alexis Dutt, along with former University of Minnesota faculty member Kate Evans and adjunct professor Mirella Ceja-Orozco for a roundtable discussion of how an abusive deportation flight led to a headline-grabbing class action, internal investigation, and nationwide effort to stop the deportation of Somali immigrants. University of Minnesota students and staff have been at the center of this national litigation and will discuss how they worked with partners all over the country to build and win this case.
