The Human Rights in Practice series is an ongoing program aimed to allow students to engage with international law and human rights practitioners in an informal setting to explore diverse career paths in the field.

Krisann is the global lead lawyer on Sustainability and the global lead lawyer for much of Cargill’s supply chain organization, including strategic sourcing, procurement, transportation, logistics & global plant operations. Krisann has moved through several positions in Cargill Law, focusing on environmental and natural resource law, regulatory counseling, agriculture law, and supply chain issues. She counsels on sustainable supply chain matters across the company’s product and service lines, ranging from environmental to operational to human rights topics across the globe. She is also Cargill’s program-owner for forced and child labor risk.
