Tara Houska is a 2012 graduate of the Law School and has spent her career fighting for indigenous rights through Honor the Earth. She's also the former Native American Affairs advisor of Bernie Sanders. Tara is the co-founder of Not Your Mascots and spent 6 months living in North Dakota to protest the Dakota Access Pipeline. 

The Lawyering for the Public Interest series brings in alumni engaged in social justice work nationally to speak to students about their work and path.
