Panelists will discuss the significant impact the opioid epidemic has had on the legal landscape, including perspectives on criminal justice, medical professional licensure, product regulation, and litigation.

Amy B. Monahan, Melvin C. Steen Professor and Director of the Law School's Joint Degree Program in Law, Science & Technology, will moderate a panel that includes:

  • Bridgett Anderson, Executive Director, Minnesota Board of Dentistry;
  • Rory Durkin, Criminal Defense Attorney, Giancola-Durkin, P.A.;
  • Pete Orput, Washington County Attorney
