Gail T. Kulick (’85) Appointed Judge in Minnesota’s 7th District

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has appointed Gail T. Kulick (’85) to serve as a judge in the state’s 7th Judicial District, which consists of Becker, Benton, Clay, Douglas, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Otter Tail, Stearns, Todd, and Wadena Counties. In making the appointment, Dayton said, “Throughout her distinguished career, Gail T. Kulick has proven herself committed to justice for all Minnesotans. I trust that her commitment to justice and service will continue in her new role.”

Kulick is a solo practitioner at Kulick Consulting, where she handles cases primarily in the areas of real estate, probate, estate planning, and government relations. Previously, she was an attorney and policy advocate for Winthrop & Weinstine and commissioner of corporate affairs for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe. From 2008 to 2010, she represented District 16A in the Minnesota House of Representatives. Kulick also served as Mille Lacs County’s examiner of titles for 4 years, and as city attorney for the cities of Milaca, Onamia, Wahkon, Bock, Foreston, and Pease for 20 years.

Kulick serves on the board of directors of Northern Lights Community Theatre, and she has previously been a board member of Mille Lacs Health System, the Minnesota Children’s Museum, and Milaca School District #912.
